Young and old love this escalator, it will bring you to the Sint-Annatunnel underneath the Schelde, so you can go to Linkeroever. But the escalator itsef is already cool.
BTW, place your hand on the handrail and don't slide it until you are at the very end... It is a different speed than the escalator, funfun

Because every book/website mentions it as hidden place in Antwerp, it is not so hidden anymore, but absolutely worth going there. So quiet and just next to the market square.

Just 2 min from the apartment. In summer there are the fountains for the children, while you relax and enjoy a drink. There is a skatepark. And almost every weekend there is something going on

I did the Antwerp Ghostwalk with 3 teenagers (it is in Dutch or English) and they enjoyed it very much. It is combination of history and some fantasy. really professional guide, that we had.

It doesn't just include musea, you can find a lot of tours to walk by yourself. I liked Antwerp highights (when you are the first time in Antwerp) I also loved the street arts walk (there are plenty), a bit more of the beaten path, ideal for the teenagers and 'modern art people'.
