You may have heard the saying ‘it’s a dry heat.’ That is the rule of thumb most of the year in Tempe. Surprisingly we do have a rainy season in spring and the monsoons bring thunderstorms in July and August. But it is mostly sunny meaning that even with cloudy weather, the sun can still be intense. Therefore, be sure to use sunscreen, lip balm and wear a hat while hiking, biking or playing outside.
