Seaview (east of Ryde) is lovely, Priory Bay Hotel (on the edge of Seaview) is a lovely spot for lunch, Bembridge has a nice beach too. The Needles & Alum Bay (west) is easily possible in a day trip, as is Blackgang Chine on the southern tip. You can get a car ferry to Fishbourne and return via the Yarmouth / Lymington route.
