This place has the best shrimp salad! Pick up a pint and take it back to the beach house for yummy snacking (don’t forget the crackers!) or order their shrimp poor boys or grilled shrimp and fish tacos with their amazing creamy sauce! It’s to die for and it’s in Jamaica beach about 7-10 minutes away

It's about 30 minutes away, though, but a great place to start your day if you're going to plan activities on the Strand, Schlitterbahnn, the Moody Gardens, etc. that day. I order the crab cakes & eggs. It's like eggs benedict but instead of the English muffin, it's crab cakes. It's pricey but worth the treat for me. My husband loves the omelettes. Then afterwards, make your way to the bakery and eat it there warm or take it home for later.
