It’s a long beach where you can enjoy the sea whether you want to be alone or have a cool drink at a beach bar.

The best beach on the island. It’s a long sandy beach where you can spend many hours of your day. The water is very very shallow with a small wave.
Suitable for children.
You just have to leave your car some meters before and walk but the it’s not too far so it’s ok.
Tip: there are two beach bars at this beach where you have to pay about 5€ for a set of two sun beds and one umbrella so be prepared for that. And of course you pay extra if you want to eat or drink something.

Paradise Beach
The best beach on the island. It’s a long sandy beach where you can spend many hours of your day. The water is very very shallow with a small wave.

So you should anyway go to Golden beach when you come to the island. Here the water is shallow so you can play in the sea or if you are coming with kids this beach is the best for them. You will find many restaurants and beach bars here to have a drink or eat something.

Chrisi Ammoudia
It the second best beach on the island. This is a very long sandy beach (Chrysi Akti and Chrysi Ammoudia) It’s actually the same beach ( on the right and left side of the beach) . So you should anyway go to Golden beach when you come to the island. Here the water is shallow so you can play in the sea or if you are coming with kids this beach is the best for them. It’s a natural swimming pool among big rocks where you can jump from the rocks and take selfies :) You just have to leave your car at the parking lot and walk on a dirt road for some minutes to reach Giola.

This village was made many years ago to provide the residents of the village from pirates that’s why it had walls around it and till now some of them remain there.
It’s a nice place to visit if you have spare time on your holidays!
