800 m from The White Box Loft once at National History Museum a large mural mosaic depicting ancient to modern figures from Albanian history adorn the entrance. There are many pavilions such pavilion of Antiquity, pavilion of Middle Ages, pavilion of Renaissance, pavilion of Independence, pavilion of anti fascist war, pavilion of communist terror, pavilion of Mother Theresa and most importantly pavilion of Iconography. The pavilion of Iconography is quite impressive as it consists of Icons of renowned 16th century Albanian Master of colour Onufri. The signages are in english and very informative. A must visit to understand the history, culture, traditions and customs of the great nation Albania.

Set in the original atomic bunker of communist dictator Enver Hoxha, Bunk’art traces the rise of fascism, communism and the brave rebellion that led to Albania’s eventual liberation. The space is enormous, very atmospheric and, honestly, there’s almost too much to take in, but a few hours here is sure to leave a lasting impression.
For those without the time to travel to the city’s periphery, Bunk’art 2 located in the heart of the city provides a smaller alternative.
