St. Andrews is one of our favourite seaside towns with lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. The West Sands is a beautiful sandy beach where you can take a long walk enjoying views over the town and historic golf courses. The ruins of St. Andrews Castle and the nearby buildings of St. Andrews University are well worth a visit. We can recommend the local fish and chips after all the sea air!

There is lots to do and see in Braemar. It is a haven for walkers, climbers and sightseers. There are lots of places to eat and we can recommend the ever popular fish and chips after working up an appetite walking and sight-seeing! The Fyffe Arms, which has been recently restored to an amazing standard and described by The Financial Times as ‘Scotland’s Hottest Hotel’ is a must-see. Take a drive to the Linn o’ Dee where you can park and enjoy a delightful relaxing walk among the Scots Pines and take in the beautiful views. This is a beautiful area with lots of lovely spots for picnics.
