The menu is "American" fare, which does't really describe the creativity and taste that people enjoy from a meal here. There will be a wait during summer evenings, but you can make reservations. The Annex next door is a bar owned by the same person and shares a kitchen with Tinderbox. Food at the Annex is prepared as thoughtfully, though the menu is not the same. Seating at the Annex is at the bar or in comfortable couches and chairs, so isn't conducive to regular dining.

The Annex is next door to Tinderbox. It has a lovely outside patio which is shared with a coffee shop/bakery called The Tourist Home. There is a small stage where local musicians play some nights. The Annex is known for cocktails but offers limited food that is prepared in the Tinderbox kitchen next door. Seating at the Annex is at the bar or in comfortable couches and chairs, so isn't conducive to regular dining, though the food is really good!

Local coffee shop with organic breakfast food and baked goods. Macy's opened in the 1970s, so has been a Flagstaff institution for decades. It's small and well-loved, so sometimes is crowded with long lines for coffee and tables. Good local vibe!
