Saving Gigi is an amazing coffee shop. The service is honest and casual. Very neighbourhood feels here with home baked goods (definitely try the scones) and all the food + value is incredible! Definitely give this place a visit!

Toronoto's incredible ethnic diversity shows amongst the choice of local restaurants to visit. There's something for everyone and there's no need to eat chain food here..but we have that too.
Grab a craft brew here with some amazing selection of slow cooked meats and smoke house type feel to the food. Great spot just at the end of the street. Friendly staff and people watching once they open the front garage doors!

This place is my FAVOURITE! They have an amazing vibe, cool back patio, great drinks, craft beer and great food. Feels like hanging in your grandma's basement and you're not worried about getting too drunk cus it's only three blocks from home!

Burdock brews their own beers and take it very seriously. They have good food, little pricier (inc their beers) but large patio and friendly service makes for a cool hangout on a hot Toronto day. Also, if it's a long weekend you forgot to stock up, their bottle shop is always open and they've got your covered.

I love love love this spot. It's down to earth, friendly, home cooking with great coffee and cool vibes. It's kinda a secret and it's great. They don't do table service but will come around a clear plates etc. It's licensed and their cheese tea biscuits are the best thing on the planet. They also have a patio and its a great place to grab a coffee or beer and watch the world go by.

Not my jam but if you're vegan, come get your unhealthy snack on. This place loves to deep fry and it's popular. All vegan as the title suggests but if you're dragging a non vegan along, they'll easily find something on this hangover dream menu!
