WHY! Delicious cakes and food, a wonderful independent cafe, that features local artists work on the walls....
"Our bakery in the heart of Leytonstone is designed to appeal to all your senses, whilst being highly accessible and welcoming to all.
The vintage furniture, restored Victorian fireplace, and bone china teacups are designed to ignite memories of grandma’s house. Reclaimed wood & apple crates create a feeling of rustic warmth and splashes of colour along with giant chalkboards to generate an element of fun.
Like the wild geese who are constantly on the move, our food is constantly changing with the seasons, the interior of our café where you can sit and enjoy our food has been gently evolving since we opened, in order to be a visually stimulating space for the eye as well as the palette.
The walls have been whitewashed and left deliberately bare in order to welcome local artists to exhibit their work exclusively each month, our belief is that there is no better way to ignite creativity in food than to surround ourselves with art.
We have our bakery kitchen in the shop itself so you can enjoy a cup of coffee, loose leaf tea or even a spot of lunch while being intoxicated with the aroma of pastries coming out of the oven & hearing the bakers chatting about their next creation."
