Food Scene

Best seafood and fish dishes ever. Lovely friendly service. Open kitchen and large portions. Fantastic for special occasions. Any loyalty stamps gratefully received by me for the tip! Divine oysters, and fish pie and vast wine list. You cant book this restaurant so don't go when you are hungry as there's sometimes a queue. To eat at at an irregular time is best. There is another bookable Riddle and Finns at the seaside on the promenade below end of West Street

Hove Lagoon is a 30 minute walk from my home. It’s a fantastic place to learn many different water sports. On the walk you’ll experience the fantastic refurbished seafront promenade. You will pass the i360, Many great restaurants including Due South, Riddle and Finns seafront seafood 🦞 and oyster bar. You might see some volleyball being played some skaters and cycle paths run along here. You might want to go to Rockwater a fabulous place for a drink on their roof terrace if you like a chilled vibe. Other zones exist in this lovely new venue. Maroccos ice cream parlour may take your fancy. Sometimes the queue is long but with the wait for a vast choice of flavours. Hove lawns is a popular place to grab a bench a take in the sea air and beautiful regency architecture of the fabulous squares. The walk will do you good - especially as the flatness of the terrain will be welcome after Brighton’s hills.
