I love this genuine Whole-food store, they stock the Summer Kitchen Organic Sourdough Bread, sell great coffee and homemade cakes. Huge variety on organic foods, nuts, cereal, kombucha etc. A must to visit :) (Closed on Sundays.... opening hours limited - check their website as they differ during the year)

White Sands is only a five minute's drive away from Saltwater Sunrise and is therefore convenient to go out for dinner. They recently changed their menu and have more vegetarian options available. Although they no longer sell my favourite dish (grilled salmon) - they replaced it with the fresh market fish - which is usually a flat head - also yum! I usually drink Devil's corner Pinot Noir - or order the beer tasting..... Open seven days - but make sure your order your meal before 7.30pm!....... White Sands is also a good option in summer to sit out on the deck and order Oysters accompanied by a glass of bubbles :)

It's the closest restaurant to Saltwater Sunrise, only a 6minutes drive towards Bicheno. Great beer tastings! Try it out for a seafood lunch and or dinner. Make sure you arrive before 7.30pm to be served. The kitchen closes at 8pm.... Between 10am and 5pm your will find a smallgoods fridge where you can buy cheese, salamis etc. You can also buy wines and beers over the counter to take back to your villa.

This is our favourite restaurant hands down. Stefaan and Jonathon are experienced chefs - we eat there when we celebrate a special occasion, when we want to indulge in French cuisine, or we want a starched white table cloth :)

We know their new chef can cook a great meal. It's offering contemporary cuisine mixed with a Russian touch. Perfect in winter when you can sit in front of the open fire. In summer - you can cool down with a nice vodka on ice :)

A Chinese takeaway/restaurant BYO. We love Jun and Feng, two sisters who came to St. Marys a few years ago. They are genuine and work hard. Call them ahead for a takeaway or go and play Ping Pong whilst waiting for your lunch or dinner. They grow their own Pak Choy and Mustard Greens at the back of their restaurant. Unconventional, fun, best to speak Chinese with Feng :)

Pub, Keno, Pool table, Bar - but foremost a great restaurant between 6-8pm daily. Huge portions, hearty meals, try their grill and accompany it with a local Pinot Noir. Here you can stock up with beer and wine at night. Only a 12min drive from Saltwater Sunrise.

We have frequented Lichen on many occasions and the food has been outstanding. The service is always amazing and all of the waitstaff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food, wine and the region. Best of all is their wood fired pizza that has the lightest, crispiest base I’ve ever had with really delicious, authentic toppings. It is actually the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy. Love the place, great job guys Combine this trip with going to Cosy Corner North along Gardeners Road just before you see the Binalong Bay sign. On your way back home you could buy some fresh Oysters

Antique store cafe with interesting bric-a-brac items. We arrived at lunch time and were not disappointed. There's a choice of burgers, sandwiches and a special board. I had the Pea and Ham soup special. This was AMAZING. Dare I say, maybe even better than my Mums!!! Value for money - outstanding. another time for breakfast: ..Service truly friendly & coffees were out fast, followed by the food. My green eggs breakfast was 100% delicious, with best hollandaise! My only complaint is that serves are huge, but that’s not really a problem is it!?

Absolutely tasty and fresh oysters. Just visit their roadside shop/oyster farm, select how many oysters you want (much cheaper than a restaurant), take them home or sit on the beach. Yum! Combine this trip with checking out Binalong Bay

Nice little coffee shop setup. Run by Marika, a very pleasant lady. Outdoor heating for the crisp, breezy days to comfort . We always go here when we are in St. Helens. Still the best coffee in town. You know it's good when they remember your order! Sometimes they sell delicious bread!

We had the seafood basket for two with a side of natural oysters. The food was fresh and very tasty. We arrived around 5.30pm and beat the crowd so our meal was ready in under 10 minutes. It was a beautiful evening so we sat out the back in the afternoon sun enjoying both our meal and the relaxed setting

Got more than we bargained for when we stepped into the Farm Shed today! Subi is a wealth of knowledge and added so much to our tastings of wine & gin. The gin tasting especially was excellent. The shed is filled with such great local wares & produce to browse through. Both ladies were so accommodating & obviously passionate about their work.

Falmouth Lagoon is a must to visit. Unspoiled - lots of shells and driftwood. There is also a new track from the end of Franks Street, after you exit our driveway, turn right and walk along the coastal walk. Hopefully you will be able to spot dolphins or whales.

This is a great day trip! Start with a short walk to St Columba Falls, then stop at the Pyengana Cheese Factory for an ice cream, after head over to the Pub in the Paddock for lunch and make your way back to St. Helens. Stock up with some nice pre-cooked meals from the Providore Shop and settle in your villa for drinks whilst watching the waves from your villa. St Columba Falls plunge nearly 90 m from the Mt Victoria foothills to the valley of the South George River. The falls can be viewed from the carpark and a short walking track provides easy access to a viewing platform.
