Food Scene

Caffe Vita is a local favorite. The coffee is just really really good. I'm not gonna lie, I don't love their pastry selection, but I'd still choose them for the quality of coffee.

The pizza here is really good (and not that it's a competition, BUT totally better than the Capitol Hill location) as long as you like New York style pizza. This place feels good, and is the perfect size. The bar in the back has a really good vibe.

Parks & Nature

This park is small but I love it because it's not touristy at all, even though there's a great view! A very quick but steep walk brings you up though a series of grassy spots that you can sit and picnic at.

Entertainment & Activities

Cinerama is my favorite movie theater for so many reasons... the theater itself is historic, there is movie memorabilia in the lobby, you can choose your seat ahead of time, the sound system is ridiculous, and it has the best snacks of any theater in town (the half regular/half chocolate popcorn mix is the best!).

Drinks & Nightlife

This dive bar is almost 100 years old and literally never closes. If you're still not convinced, there's a periscope in the guy's bathroom.

Everything Else

The Center is located on the South end of South Lake Union, which is easy to get to and near other attractions, like MOHAI. I like the Center because you can rent a rowboat and goof around the lake while seaplanes land all around you.
