There are many good breweries and bars in this city, but if you value passionately knowledgable service down to the minutia AND the very best in beer offerings, this is the place for you.
For 28 years, as BAR VOLO, they were a 15 minute walk from Forty Twelve - but iconic venues are making way for urban development. Fortunately, Birreria Volo landed a new lease amongst a cluster of other esteemed venues.
Sadly, they are not continuing their exceptional nano-brews at this location. For this, we all have to wait for the re-opening of their original and revered flagship BAR VOLO (which will be close to Forty Twelve, once again).

There are many good breweries and bars in this city, but if you value passionately knowledgable service down to the minutia AND the very best in beer offerings, this is the place for you.

A brew-pub focusing on mixed-fementation and farmhouse styles - quality brews, well-appointed bottle lists and guest taps. Oh, and huge scotch collection. This is where I go when I'm craving the perfect marriage of good beer and delicious food. I will often spend hours indulging a beer between meals, allowing for proper digestion before ordering a fourth or fifth course. I do this because I don't get to come often enough, and the fares sometimes turns over faster than the taps! The on-point creativity of the cooks seems inexhaustible. The cooks and owners are always ensuring you enjoy everything. Well, I always tell them what I tell you now: I've only ever enjoyed EVERY meal there!
