The Nockalmstrasse is a 35 km road starting form Innerkrems which is cutting the Nockalm Alps and is connecting Innerkrems with Ebene Reichenau. The main altitude of the road is 2049 m. The road is passing through the Biosphärenpark Nockalm. In the winter time the road is closed.

During the Second WW, the Porsche Factory (Design section) was hosted in Gmund, because of the intense bombardments of the allied forces. The museum has a wonderful collection of Porsche cars.

The Torture Museum, from Seeboden, is the biggest in Europe, and is presenting torture devices, from the feudal times. The museum is located in a partially ruined castle called Burg Sommeregg. There is also a restaurant in the Burg Sommeregg which is serving medieval food. Also during summer time in the Burg Sommeregg are organised knight games (31 July-19 August 2018).
