Museums

My faborite mueseum in the city. Features small, well-curated and easily digestible exhibitions of classic art, illustration and some modern special exhibits. Free on friday afternoons, and with live music in the beautiful glass atrium. Always on exhibit are the original library and office of J.P. Morgan which include coffered ceilings, italian tiling, original Shakespeare Folios, a Gutenberg bible, and tons of special historical first editions.

Walk through Brooklyn bridge park and find yourself at the waterfront food stalls, and walk a little further to the carousel. Catch a show at St. Annes if you can, or walk through the shopping and restaurant district. There's a great rooftop bar at Harriet's for even better views.
