Honorato Santa Marta
35A R. de Santa MartaVery close to the flat. It is one of the best burguer restaurants in Lisbon!
It is a very traditional place, packed with locals. You have many fish and meat options.
The menu always consists on the Prato do Dia (dish of the day) - which changes daily
All the dishes are typical, however, this place is known for the lamprey and its seafood.
If you want a quick bite, sit by the bar and order a beer and a prego (a steak sandwich) - that’s the most portuguese it can get :)

We decided to put together a list of all the places we love to go whenever we are craving for a delicious meal.
Some of them combine design and stye, while others are just "Tascas" - typical casual Portuguese eateries, often family-run, that serve a classic repertoire of traditional homemade dishes, simple but delicious.
This restaurant was "found" by my friend Ricardo and it is now one of our favourite places in Lisbon.
If you like sharing, this is the perfect place for you. Their concept is based on petiscos, what we call the Portuguese tapas. In other words, ask for several dishes and share: you will try at least 4 Portuguese specialities and have a very delicious meal.
The apartment is located in the Avenida area
Ideal for the ones staying in Marquês de Pombal, Restauradores and Martim Moniz (but I would definitely recommend it to everyone coming to visit).

If you love seafood, there is no doubt you will love Ramiro.
Fresh food, cooked in a way only they know how, and an amazing service. The waiters have been working in this restaurant for decades and you can see that by the way they treat you.
It is just a spot you cannot miss.
At the end of the meal (yes, you will be very full), you still need to find some space to fit a PREGO (Portuguese steak sandwich). It is a traditional for locals to eat a prego after a seafood meal.
Go early, there is always a line. Tell us when do you want to go and we might be able to help you getting in without making the queue.

But I must say that the ones served in Manteigaria are equally worth it!
