Probably North Zealand's most beautiful beach consisting of several kilometers of fine sand, with shallow water ideal for children (one picture shows this beach). 5.3 km from our house (9 min by car).

The "local" beach can be reached by turning left by the fresh fish store on the corner of Holløselund Strandvej, turn left and walk 3-400 m and turn right onto Kaprifolievej, where there is a parking spot (so you can take the car as well). Follow the path down to the top of the 160-step stairs to get down to the beach (one picture shows this beach with the stairs to the right). Walking distance: 1.2 km / 14 min.

The "local" beach can be reached by turning left by the fresh fish store on the corner of Holløselund Strandvej, turn left and walk 3-400 m and turn right onto Kaprifolievej, where there is a parking spot (so you can take the car as well). Follow the path down to the top of the 160-step stairs to get down to the beach (one picture shows this beach with the stairs to the right). Walking distance: 1.2 km / 14 min.
Heatherhill is an open, hilly and protected natural area with large hills, right next to Kattegat, close to Rågeleje. The majority of Heatherhill is covered with hedge and heather plants. The terrain with its marked hills and valleys was formed during the last ice age. There is access to the area throughout the year and it is a favorite excursion for paragliders and a great place for a tobogganing when the weather is there. Driving distance: 5.6 km / 8 min.

For all but especially bigger children you must visit the nature playground inside the Troll Forrest. A playful paradise in the woods. The playground includes a ship with a racetrack, a birdsnest-swing, regular swings, small play huts and a double cable car.
Directions: Drive to the big parking spot down by Tisvildeleje beach, walk 100 m until you reach the black house south of the parking spot, proceed to the forrest, and take one of the paths into the forrest. The playground is located approx. 2-300 m inside the forrest, and unfortunately there are no signs to direct you - but you will reach it easily. Don't worry :)
