For basic but well done food for cheap, I go there all the time as it's affordable and friendly, and simple!

It's quite new but the chef is great and it's always busy, food is wonderful with options in all price ranges it seems.

Drinks & Nightlife

It just seems to be the most relaxed pub in the area, food always gets good comments too... there's nicer and more idyllic places out of town towards Cuckmere and Alfriston but this 2 mins from my house..

Parks & Nature

All along the coast heading east is stunning, be warned though, it's at least 5 hrs to Eastbourne and not an easy walk.. Less time but still beautiful is the walk to Cuckmere Haven, about 1 hr or less with a lovely 'hidden' cove/beach on the way!

It's Gorgeous! At the top end is Friston Forest, for great walks and riding and theres a reason thousands of people snake their way down the haven to the sea every week in the summer, it's lovely!
