Traveling with kids?
SO much to do in the area with children, but we know you're looking for the quick summary of recommendations, and so here they are!
- Almost everything we've mentioned in this guide is kid friendly (and even kid insoired!
- Show them our creek (but keep a close eye on them and don't let them go—or fall—in). Things to spot: fish, beavers, and MANY birds (including blue heron)!
- Skateboard/bike park in Pioneer Park
- Vedder Rotery (recommended to park at Vedder Park off Vedder Road) winds along the Vedder River and is great for bikes and parents with a playground ever 1km or so.
