Directly across the street from the apartment, this is my near-daily choice for coffee! The baristas are friendly and welcoming and the coffee is great! The bagel cart next door is owned by the same guy and has a ton of creative and delicious breakfast bagel options!

Best late night happy hour in the city (or at least, my favorite)! Open until midnight with a great French-inspired bistro menu, amazing wine list, and fantastic cocktails. Try the Macaroni Gratin or the burger!

There's also a tasting counter/bar in the front of the shop where you can buy glasses of a wide selection of approachable local wines as well as nosh on some really tasty bites!

The streetcar (A/B and NS lines) runs through here and the Orange and Green MAX lines run North-South on 5th and 6th from here as well.
