An exquisite historical work of art constructed during the Pallava rule in India. The shore temple is one of seven temples built by the Pallava kings; the other six temples are now under water. The temple complex houses the place for the holy sacrifice (Bali), which gave rise to the place's name: Maha (Big) Bali (the holy sacrifice) Puram (City). The rock carvings are stunning, and there is an idol of Lord Shiva with Devi Parvati and their family. A Nataraja carving on the temple's wall has been partially eroded by the salty sea waters. Anyone visiting Mahabalipuram or Chennai should pay a visit to the temple.

The word Pancha means "five," so the location features five rock-built Rathas. It represents the evolution or ascension of Dravidian architects. The temple also resembles historical Buddhist monarchs and shrines, while the Rathas are associated with Mahabharat. The first rath described is Drupati's, which stands on the right side by the entrance. Arjuna's rath is located next to Draupadi's, while Nakula Sahadev Rath and Bhima are in the foreground. The Rath of Dharamraj Yudhistar is the largest. This appears to be one of the best tourist attractions in Mahabalipuram.

Mahabalipuram Beach is a well-known beach near Chennai, located approximately 12 kilometres from The Bella Vista. It's a great place to hang out on the beach and spend some relaxing time. The beach is clean, and cool air flows continuously, with a strong wind pushing the waves to shore Temple.
