Are you aware of the trails at Forbes State Forest? This resource is about 40 minutes away, just beyond the entrance to the Laurel Mountain Ski Resort. In the non-snowy months, the trails are available for hiking. When snow is available, the trails are groomed for cross-country skiing. You can snowshoe along the side of the cross-country skiing trails. Snowmobile trails are available as well. Rachel Mahoney, Environmental Education Specialist for the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), provides guided hikes, such as Full Moon hikes and Rise N Shine Snowshoe Hikes. Trail maps are available on the DCNR website

Bring your beer, wine and food with you.
There is a Giant Eagle grocery store, beer shed and liquor and wine store in Somerset, PA - about a 30 min drive from Lakefront Libations. A Dollar General is close and has most everything you may want or need but they do not have fresh foods/produce. The Lodge at Indian Lake has been known to sell beer/wine to go.
