Hiking Trails

Start at "Natalie Coffin Green Park". The 3-mile trail around Phoenix Lake is a perfect easy hike -- and you can extend it as much as you want with the endless trails surrounding it. The lake is a reservoir that provides drinking water for Marin, so you can't swim in it. Parking is free but can be challenging on the weekends. It is easy during the week. On weekends, consider parking downtown San Anselmo, grabbing a coffee, and walking the 1.5 miles to the trailhead.

Hiking trail up the street with views of the Bay and SF!

There's a hiking trail that starts at the top of Oak Springs Drive that has stunning views across the Bay and San Francisco. The trail starts near 170 Oak Springs Drive. Walk up their driveway (it's public) and you'll see the trail. From there, you can walk as long or short as you'd like. Ask me for a map if you'd like.
