Activities locally and in the surrounding area
Kensington Gardens is a small but lovely park with a boating lake right on the seafront and a two minute walk away from our holiday home.
It also has tennis courts and two crown green bowling lawns, all of which are free to the general public and for a small returnable deposit, the groundsman will lend you all the equipment you need.
We've had hours of fun here (adults and children alike) and would recommend a walk around the corner to explore.

All electric boats hired by the day and a great place to explore the broads from. The staff are really friendly and will be able to tell you where to head and what you might find along the way.
Moor up at the Locks Inn community pub for lunch for example but whatever you decide to do, Hippersons provide great eco friendly boats and great service to their customers.

South beach at Lowestoft is one of the finest on the Suffolk coastline and about two minutes walk from home. There's plenty of room for families to enjoy the golden sands and life guards are present daily throughout the summer months.
Head a little further south (just past the new beach huts - you can't miss them!) and you can then also walk your furry friend too.
