This is Max Clifford’s 2 Michelin star restaurant, which is only about a 15-minute walk from the house along the river. We have never actually eaten there, but obviously it’s very well known and the food is apparently exceptional – although advance booking will definitely be necessary!

Jack creates all of his own gelato on site and uses fresh ingredients, so the menu changes daily. He serves gelato all year round and does the most incredible hot chocolate in the autumn/winter as well. Often open late as well.

Sightseeing
This is a five minute walk from our place, and has access to Ditton Fields as well. . These are both lovely areas to take a picnic and watch the sun set in the Summer – Ditton Meadows is a little quieter. Just remember to bring a torch for the walk back! Also, in the Summer there are cows in both areas. There are not dangerous and will most likely give you a wide berth, but don’t get too close as they are wild animals and can be unpredictable.

15-16 Mercers RowThis is a five minute walk from our place, and has access to Ditton Fields as well. .
