A 15-20 walk away from the apartment. Two ponds, cafe in a mini mansion overlooking the animal enclosure. Deer, goats, ducks and geese to be seen roaming about. An interesting drinking water fountain at the back of the cafe building. Seek out gentrified trendy shopping if you exit at the Stoke Newington High Street side by the quaint old church.

Very historic place pertaining to the Great Fire of London. Certain times of the year, you can climb up inside the pillar.

Always good to be by the Thames Riverside and what better than to see a full size replica of Sir Francis Drakes Ship. Carry on walking along the embankment for historic pubs, The Globe theatre and the Tate Modern Art Gallery.

Quirky backstreet Soho, where shops sell interesting theatrical fabrics not easily found in your standard sewing shops.

The Green is towards the Angel End of Upper Street. This end has your traditional franchises in the Mall but across the road tucked away is Camden Passage antique shops and market. Not to be confused with Camden Town Market. The more interesting shops can be found if you walk towards Highbury and Islington Station. Good eateries too.

Still part of Camden Town shopping experience but more vintage items to be located in the Stables section of the Market.

Very crowded on a Sunday. Morning market with bargains to be had if you wait for the stalls to pack up and clear unsold bunches of flowers. Interesting shops with hand crafted wares, and food.

Food scene

Foodies love this market. Not cheap but its got a buzz . My favourite stall is where the Olive Oil and vinegar range is mega. See the Golden Hind Ship while you're in the area. 114 bus from Manor House goes all the way to London Bridge, which is opposite the Market.

Cómo moverse

Victoria line is fast. 29 bus, for Camden Town & West End.

If you are not scared to cycle it is the best way of getting around London. No parking issues and can stop off and see what takes your fancy. But always lock your bike up and use a good D Bolt lock. Cycle lanes have increased and safer.
