Looking for some waterfront activities, boat ramps, beautiful views, and excellent biking? Check out some of our favorite spots, all within 10-15 minutes.
For waterfront fun, and a boat launch only 10 minutes north of us!
At 40 acres, it is the newest addition to Entiat’s evolving waterfront. Once you arrive, you will find an idyllic peaceful setting to relax or engage in the numerous waterfront activities such as boating, kayaking, SUP, fishing or sunbathing. Or perhaps a walk along the gorgeous ADA accessible trail on the edge of the Columbia River is more to your liking. You will no doubt enjoy the Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, Osprey, and numerous other birds overhead.
Entiat City Park

Lincoln Rock State Park is a public recreation area on the east side of the Columbia River's Lake Entiat, seven miles (11 km) north of Wenatchee and one mile upstream from the Rocky Reach Dam.[1] The state park covers 86 acres (35 ha) opposite the cliff formation for which it is named. The park provides views of the south end of Swakane Canyon and of Turtle Rock Island in Lake Entiat, a 150-acre nature preserve that was isolated from the mainland when the lake formed in the 1960s. The park offers water activities, including fishing, boating, and swimming, in addition to facilities for picnicking, camping, hiking, and field sports.

Beautiful, paved 10 mile + loop trail along the Columbia River. We love to walk and bike on this scenic trail that goes through several parks.

We enjoy the newly remodeled Discovery Center. You can take a guided tour of the dam. The little cafe has the best sandwiches for the best price around, and it's only 3 minutes from home!

Spotting Bighorn Sheep on Highway 97A
Keep your eyes peeled all along the highway between Wenatchee and our house. You will often see the sheep on the hillside, or right on the road!
