The Valley is home to many great bookstores, and this is probably the largest and my personal favorite. They host tons of author events.

Sightseeing
Right down the street from us, in Downtown Holyoke. Heritage State Park is a lovely place to take a walk along the canals, have a picnic, or check out the "Volley Ball Hall of Fame." For families, there's an historic, restored merry-go-round and playground with a cooling station.
