MUST VISIT!! Perfect for a romantic evening or a big family meal. Some of the best homemade Italian cuisine we've ever had! The chef is from Sicily and uses all local and homegrown ingredients. The dining area is off of his house, with a great atmosphere, and the menu changes nightly depending on what he has on hand. He always has a great wine selection as well! Amazing

Costa Rica has a pretty good growing local beer scene. Overlooking the lake, this brewery has a decent beer selection and some good food as well. As of summer 2021 they have a really good taco Tuesday special :)

We were a little skeptical at first about getting sushi in the middle of Costa Rica, but this place is amazing! If you're headed to La Fortuna, make sure you go hungry. Highly recommend the sushi boat

Only just over an hour drive from Turtle Cove, there are great hiking trails in Tenorio Volcano National Park. The hike from the parking lot to this beautiful waterfall is moderate in difficulty but not very far. Worth a half day trip!
