Sooo good! Very relaxed vibe, great little beer list. Seriously, everything is good. Start with the fried pickles and jalapenos. Share some smoked mountain trout tacos followed by the pulled pork sammich... although, gotta say that pulled chicken is awesome, as is the brisket. Really, not just saying this, you can't go wrong with anything.

What a special little place. Indulgent is a great word to describe the menu... Rich but not heavy. delicate but hardy. Total delight. The soups - be it the she crab or, if you're lucky, the soup de jour corn chowder - is a great start.
Lunch... have some soup and maybe share the crab, corn, lobster sandwich. (Though the Croque Monsieur is hard to pass up.)

Ice cream! This general store has been around for ages, and has a variety of things from hardware to garden tools to fresh produce and eggs. But, what folks seem to always come for is the ice cream.
It's not surprising to see a line, and it's well worth the short wait. A favorite flavor: moose tracks extreme.

A great little place to stop for a couple pints. Nice draft list, plus a number of canned/bottled beers to choose from. There's always a nice little crowd gathering in the back outdoor space. Good energy, good vibes.

When you come into town, you're greeted by this place. It's a great little stop to get any hiking or outdoor gear for your treks, a beer with a meal at the food truck, Green River Eddy's.

The Great Outdoors
This pretty little hike is just a short drive away from the cabin and downtown Saluda. It's not difficult, but it does have some challenging spots. Be prepared to walk thru the water at a couple spots, and climb over/under fallen trees and branches. When you come to the falls, though, it's so worth it.
Might not be a good spot for families with toddlers or pre-teens, unless you're used to hiking.

Another great little antique mall just off I-26 in Hendersonville is Needful Things II. Owned by a Saluda resident, this place has been around for nearly three decades, and has so many wonderful treasures to find.
