Hauturu (Clark) Island At low tide you can walk out to Clark Island. Spend a little time over there, have a swim, explore the rocks then walk back. Its such a fun family activity to do. (Young kids may need adult help getting across)

Wentworth Valley is beautiful, there is a camp ground out there, its DOC land, there is a lovely walk out there that takes you to a stunning waterfall and swimming hole. Dogs can go on the walk but need to follow the DOC regulations.

This is a great spot to spend the day. The kids love jumping off the wharf even mum & dad can! Pack a picnic lunch and spend hours of fun there.
