Winter Driving in Tahoe
Tahoe get’s a lot of snow in the winter. The roads are well maintained but chains are a must for 2WD cars. Even when the roads in town are clear, the Mountain Chalet is at a higher elevation and the roads are not as frequently plowed. Drive carefully, especially going down the hill. Keep it slow and you’ll be fine!
