Summerlin Area
Located on the far west side of the Las Vegas Valley, Summerlin area is largely a residential neighborhood. Shops, restaurants, and recreational opportunities also attract visitors, especially those looking to get away from the Strip. Red Rock National Recreation Area attracts outdoor enthusiasts, photographers, and nature lovers. Serious bicyclists are a common sight throughout the area, and Summerlin's golf courses host major tournaments.
Summerlin's residential feeling will give you a totally different look at Las Vegas. A very small percentage of Vegas visitors ever leave the Strip, so you'll definitely be seeing a side of the city that only residents usually experience.

The Food Scene, 2 of my favs and only 10 mins away.
You could go with jeans; I say, sexy attire and did someone say "cocktails"? Oh, the food....is great too.
I'm happy we have a place like Grape Vine in this town. A nice classy place away from the Strip to have a light lunch or a lovely dinner.

Not all of Vegas' fine dining restaurants are located on or near Las Vegas Boulevard. Vintner Grill is tucked away in the heart of the neighborhood of Summerlin, on the bottom floor of an office building. The crisp interior sets the stage for a menu full of classic dishes that take inspiration from Spain, France and Italy. For dinner, starters include pan-seared crab cakes with tarragon cream sauce and white bean hummus with olive relish and spicy pita chips. Flatbreads, pasta and risotto dishes offer a tempting list of possible choices, like the pan-seared diver scallops with sweet corn risotto, heirloom tomatoes and pecorino cheese. Entrees include a selection of fish, veal and chicken dishes, as well as wonderfully tender, perfectly prepared steaks.

As you launch from the historic Hoover Dam you will go through Hot Springs, landmarks and surrounding breathtaking canyon walls topping at 900 feet at Emerald Cave, take your lunch break on a beautiful sandy beach.

Knock it all out in one trip! Mall is outside so dress appropriately. Plenty of parking in the garages.
