The Newt in Somerset is definitely worth a visit despite its £17 entry fee. The Garden Cafe serves delicious home grown food but much more sophisticated than that and the gardens are stunning.

Cycling, Walking and Swimming

Jericho is set in stunning countryside with plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking as wells some excellent wild swimming.
Jericho is located right next to Route 24, the Colliers Way, which is part of the National Cycle Network. It runs alongside the disused railway line and goes from Bath to Frome and on through Salisbury into Hampshire towards the coast. You can access the path through the trees behind the parking area through the small gate. Left to Bath, right to Mells and Frome. It takes around 15 minutes to cycle to Mells or 30/40 to walk, and is around 1h30 mins to cycle into Bath

There is a stunning walk along the Frome River at Mells and Great Elm. It takes you along the river bank through woodland and past the disused iron works.
