This venue have hosted festivals of 100 people and festivals of 15,000. The Sports Park always rates highly among event organisers and users and is a local HQ for many sports organisations
The Sports Park is the regional home of netball, athletics, rugby league and shortly, canoe polo.
It’s a “sports village” that is expanding all the time.
We love visiting it just for a walk and to get sunshine with a view of the area from the walking track that stretches around the entire facility.

This lovely spot is great for quite walks and enjoying the rose gardens, as well as meeting families with children to enjoy the great covered playground or check out the sunken garden with is sundial.
There are all sorts of sports happening all year around at the fields behind it as well.
