Our favourite beach club. What we love: sunshine, nice music, the friendliest baristas, absolutely delicious smoothies, burgers, toy closet for the kids, open fireplaces, surf and surf-suit rentals, showers and changing rooms. Ask for the possibility to get a surf lesson if you love to try it.

Every summer the Art heart of the Hague hosts sculptures of renowned and not so known artists. If you are lucky there could be an art or food market during the weekend. This romantic alley leads down town best enjoyed at midnight when the street lights give it some extra charm. The Antique and Book Market is held on the Lange Voorhout every Thursday and Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00 hrs. from mid-May until mid-September. Some 77 stalls display all kinds of antiques, curiosities and collectibles such as special glassware, paintings, antique furniture, porcelain and silver. The market is great for browsing around whether you’re looking for that first edition of your favourite novel, books about art, nature or transport or old prints and engravings. On Sunday there is also a small art market. The combination of specialised and general stalls makes this market greatly appealing to a wide audience. It’s also the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or light bite at one of the sidewalk cafes under the linden trees along the Lange Voorhout.
