Includes guardianship of Maori carvings, weaving, a meeting house (wharenui), canoe (waka). Tours available. Experience a live Maori performance (check times at the ground floor information desk). The Museum also houses extensive digital records of those New Zealanders who defended during WWI and WWII including the Maori Battalion. Open daily 10am - 5.00pm

The walk begins at the coastal foreshore of Hobson Bay and connects with a constructed wooden walkway across incredibly beautiful bushclad gullies and coastal marshland. Average and above fitness.
