We will pick you up from you accomodation and go far away from city light to perfect location with open view to north to maximize our chance to see northernlights. I will let you know everything about northernlights and hunting. We will make photos as well on professional camera. You will be provided snacks by campfire (sasauges/vegetarian oprion, cookies, marshmallows, hot berry juice). Included: - Transport - Photos on next day - BBQ by campfire - Info Please note: there is no 100% guarantee that we will catch the Northern lights even in case of ideal weather and sun activity conditions. It is all up to the mother nature. Remember to dress up according to the weather conditions.

We will begin our hunt for the Northern Lights in the evening from Pyhätunturi ski resort area where you will receive the equipment (skis or snowshoes depending on your liking) needed for the adventure in the snowy backcountry. Prior skiing experience is not needed on this tour. We will ski or snowshoe in the untouched snow with headlamps and on a clear night we'll also have the moon and stars lighting our way. We will tour to an open space where we will look for the Northern Lights. Given the right conditions we have the possibility to see the beautiful Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) against the dark night sky. We will stop for a break, start a fire together to keep warm and you will get to enjoy local Arctic snacks and hot beverages by the fire while looking up the sky searching for the magical Northern Lights. Please note that the best possibility to see Auroras is in clear weather, when the stars are visible in the sky. It's important to remember that Auroras are not visible every night and therefore seeing the Northern Lights during the activity can't be guaranteed. Pyhätunturi and Pyhä Ski Resort are located about two hours' drive from Rovaniemi. There are also good SkiBus connections from the Rovaniemi airport and the train station to Pyhä.

Nos reuniremos en la recepción de su alojamiento. Nos subimos a un automóvil, luego escapamos del centro de la ciudad, hacia el lugar cerca del lago (el tiempo estimado de manejo desde el centro de la ciudad es de unos 15-20 minutos, dependiendo del estado de la carretera). Encendiremos el fuego después de la llegada si ya no había fuego. Durante nuestra búsqueda de la aurora, disfrutaremos de la tradicional salchicha de leña finlandesa oscura, jugo de bayas caliente o té, bebida tradicional finlandesa de Navidad (dependiendo de lo que prepare para el día en clase). En caso de que tengamos suerte, puedo sacarte fotos. Las fotos se pueden enviar por correo electrónico si lo desea por 25 euros adicionales por persona. Después de la búsqueda de la aurora, lo llevarán de regreso a su alojamiento. Nota: No hay garantía del 100% de que capturaremos la aurora boreal, incluso con un clima y actividad soleados ideales. Todo depende de la madre naturaleza. Tambien se puede alquilar el traje termico con botas por 10 euros adicionales.

On this wilderness skiing tour you'll get a taste of adventure in a snowy wilderness at Pyhätunturi. You will get to ski in the beautiful and tranquil snowy backcountry around Pyhä-Luosto area with easy-to-use wilderness skis. You get to access the untouched snowfields and experience the beautiful arctic wilderness of Finnish Lapland. The wilderness skis are designed to excel in snowy terrain of Lapland. These skis are wide and rather short by design and they have integrated skins in the base making them a go to choice in variable winter terrain. Your guide will instruct and teach you the correct and efficient technique for wilderness skiing so this tour is suitable for the absolute beginner as well. The tour includes local snacks ro light lunch and warm drinks enjoyed by an open fire to keep you energised. Aah yes, the beautiful pictures of Aurora Borealis! The best that Lapland has to offer, the Northern Lights, right? Im going to be totally honest with you: To see the Aurora is all about luck. Thats why I want you to experience other great Lappish things in a small group; to have a good time for four hours with open fire, Lappish / Finnish food, drinks & treats, stories, views, the polar night, the surrounding nature and atmosphere. And if we are lucky, the skies are clear and the universe serves us right, the Aurora Borealis will add a final touch to our shared traditional Lappish experience in the winter nature. Heres what is going to happen: –Maximum amount of people on the experience is 4. – I will pick you up at 18.00 sharp – I use four different locations depending on the weather & forecast, all of them have roughly the same “schedule”: – A short walk through the night forrest – We start a fire at the lean-to. – Free hanging around the area, spotting the borealis ect. while I cook. – The Dinner – We can try to figure out do the Borealis really hum... – I will watch the borealis radar – If theres no Borealis by the first place, we head on top Ounasvaara for different views & change for Sledging – I will drop you off where you want Other things to note: The car we use is a 2017 Dacia Duster 4x4. We drive to a big lake next to Rovaniemi. We will have short walk to our fishing spot on the ice of the lake. The fishing will last about 2 hours. From the lake, we will walk back to the short to make prepare food on fire in a traditional Lappish hut. Other things to note Contact me for special rates. Food from the clean nature of Lapland Appetizers: bread, wild mushroom sauce, cold smoked moose (elk), hot berry juice. Main course: Sauteed reindeer meat, mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam and pickles Dessert: Lapland cheese stewed in cream and self-picked cloudberries. If somebody is wegetarian, price +10€ during dinner. The hut has a maximum of 5 guests. If you want, you can book dinner just for you and your friend(s) privately. My hut is located in Ivalo (2,5km from center) If you com from Inari or Saariselka or Inari, you will need a car.

We will begin our journey to the wintery wilderness from Pyhätunturi ski resort area. You'll get to walk with snowshoes in the tranquil wilderness of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Enjoy the clean air and nature of Finnish Lapland and experience the awesome wintery landscape. During the snowshoeing tour we will have a lunch by the open fire in a lean-to shelter which have traditionally been used by hunters, reindeer herders and hikers. Join me for a snowshoeing adventure in the arctic north! Other things to note: We will do a 2,5 hour long outdoor activity so prepare for moderate physical activity as we will be touring with snowshoes in the snow with some uphill sections. We will have a snowshoe walk on one of the Lappish hills in the Arctic forest. The walk is not physically demanding. We will end the walk by the observation tower where we can have a campfire. You will be picked up from your accommodation in IVALO (max 4 person). We will wear helmets on and warm socks and winter boots, if you need. Hopefully you have own warm winter clothes with you; if necessary you can also rent warm overalls from the main place. You will sit on a sledge of snowmobile between reindeer hides. Your guide is a driver of the snowmobile. We will ride a new ecological snowmobile to the huge forest and a frozen lake in the wilderness, where we will make a hole in the ice and test very clean and clear water. We will see different animal steps on the snow and try to see reindeer which live like wild animals. Your guide will tell you about wildlife. Along the way, we drink hot berry juice and eat some cookies. At the same time, we will listen complete silence of nature. The tour will end back in IVALO and you will be dropped off to your accommodation by car (max 4 person). If you have an own car, to explore this experience with a group of 6-7 person together is possible. From Ivalo Center 2,5km to start place.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be eye to eye with a wolfdog, to befriend yourself with these stunning animals throughout an adventures day together? If this speaks to you, this unique lifetime experience is for you! After the first get-together and an introduction, you will follow Vállju to meet the Wolfdogs inside their enclosures, where you gain knowledge and start to befriend yourself with the different individuals. For lunch you will grill sausages over the bonfire. In the following highlight of the experience you can choose, either: To go on a long adventure hike (with snowshoes in winter if necessary) through the woods & swamps and see the behaviour of some of the Wolfdogs in a different surrounding & spend more time with them during the hike. Hiking is on of the best ways to get these beauties to know and to be in the middle of untouched nature. - OR - To spend additional time in the enclosures of Wolfland, if you are not that much of an outdoor person, but want to use the chance to spend more time with the Wolfdogs. You will have plenty of time to capture the animals from different angles and capture unforgettable moments in pictures.

The Arctic Wolfland Sanctuary gives you the chance for intimate moments in the territory of the Arctic Wolfdogs. Get an insight in the behavior & interaction of wolves and the importance of wolves in the wild. You will get lots of photo opportunities while learning a little about the history of Wolfdogs and the differences from domesticated dogs and their advantages as work animals. We, at Arctic Wolfland Sanctuary want to educate people in the right behavior with animals in general and bring wolf behavior closer to them with the help of our Arctic Wolfdogs. People have unlearned proper handling of animals and are not able anymore to deal with them in a correct way, which leads to an ever-increasing number of (deadly) accidents involving animals of all kinds.
