Had a getaway with my partner here and it was truly so amazing, we had so much fun walking around the property and seeing the goats, sheep and chickens! It was truly an amazing place to be! Peter and Jill were so welcoming and also left us with some homemade marmalade🥹❤️🙏🏼‼️ Thank you so much for this much needed rest and for sharing your home with us❤️‼️🙏🏼

A cosy spot for a couple of nights away, beautiful trails close by and the surrounding scenery is lovely. The place had great amenities.

Had a lovely weekend away with my family. The communal living space was perfect for our big group. Victoria’s place provides enough privacy while still being so close to the main town. She was very responsive for help or suggestions. Would definitely come back again!

An excellent location which suits the needs for large groups of people - everyone was able to have their own space across the three floors while also meeting in comfortable communal spaces to hang out together. A great space with a lot of personality and a very responsive team - we lost power during the stay and the Bright Escapes Team was very quick to answer our queries and link to resources to help us out. A short distance from the town made getting around and engaging in what Bright has to offer very easy, but if you're walking or riding be aware that there are two very big hills leading in and out of the property. Would definitely stay there again, a great space for a holiday.

The unit was clean as recently been updated, with everything you need and close locations to shops and easy access to everything.

The house was beautiful and very well equipped, making our stay incredibly comfortable. It was peaceful and quiet, providing the perfect setting to unwind. The view was stunning, especially the spectacular sunset that we enjoyed in the evening. Overall, we had a truly relaxing and memorable time. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape and recharge!

We had a brilliant stay in Porepunkah and would not hesitate to stay again. The log cabin was set in a beautiful, quaint location and it made for a very relaxing week. Claudia was great with helping us check in and showing us around with the property being walking distance to the town of Porepunkah. Thanks for having us!

We had an amazing stay at the Dreamers Garden House, it comfortably fit six adults and our dog. The house was very homely with all the amenities needed for a weekend away. Wendy was a responsive host who promptly replied to any questions we had when staying at the property.

Nicole could not have been more helpful. She was fantastic in that she responded to any requests or messages straight away.

The ideal long weekend retreat away from the city and crowds. Barb was so warm and welcoming and had a fresh loaf of bread, eggs, fruit, coffee and snacks ready for us! Everything is thought of, with the fully equipped kitchenette and fridge, BBQ, board games and a cosy fireplace - couldn't think of anything else we needed. It was Easter weekend so the surrounding areas were busy, but it was so nice to come back "home" to Barb's place, just keep in mind it is about a 35-40min drive from Bright, Beechworth etc. But that's what makes it special, it's so quiet (apart from the farm noises) and the stars were incredible. Her family were visiting and gave us privacy but also were lovely and shared extra eggs from their Easter egg hunt and opening the gates for us. Definitely worth the stay and would highly recommend Barb's farm stay place!

We loved our stay at Cortes cottage. It was a lovely space for 2 adults, 2 kids and small dog. The kids loved the open farm space and playground. The walk to the river was lovely. Very convenient drive to Beechworth and Bright.

Our stay at Moyhu was lovely, Juliana is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself is beautiful, comfy bed, gorgeous styling and we fell in love with the feature tiles! It was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our pup was welcomed as much as we were, and she loved watching (and barking at!) the neighbouring cows. We highly recommend staying here with Jules, and we'll definitely stay again!

This was our second stay at Charmaine’s place and it lived up to our expectations once again. Walking distance into town and to the river. The house and outdoor areas are very clean and tidy and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a great time, thanks

We had a lovely stay in this cozy accommodation!

Secluded, private. Literally in the middle of a huge farm and surrounded by pastures and sheep as far as the eye can see. Beautiful sunset/sunrise and star gazing. Cottage is extremely rustic, so city dwellers might not appreciate it. We are in the country. There are bugs that occasionally make their way inside. There is wildlife outside. There is no TV as advertised. There are no door locks which can feel strange but you are protected by lots of open farmland and you have to drive past the main property to get to the Cottage. It is secure. Hot showers, functional kitchen, soft bed, electricity… nothing to do but put up your feet, stare off at nature and RELAX. It was warm and draft-free inside. You have your own (farm) fenced off huge yard for your dog to enjoy. Small thin dogs may make it through the gaps though. My dog loved running around the yard. Our host was extremely lovely and great at replies. Would go again :)

A very tidy and comfortable unit, well appointed. A good shower and comfortable bed with quality linen. The unit is within walking distance of the village shops, with a great cafe almost next door.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this stunning property! The beautiful home boasts breathtaking hill views, and its cleanliness and amenities exceeded our expectations. Everything was provided to make our stay truly feel like home. The whole family had a fantastic time lounging by the expansive pool on warm summer days. The outdoor shower and BBQ area were additional highlights, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The spacious house features generously sized bedrooms and exceptionally comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the high country. Lastly, our host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Five stars, without a doubt!

Had a relaxing and oh so comfortable stay in the guesthouse. The surroundings were bucolic - grazing cows and soft evening light. The accommodation was really comfortable and perfect for my solo getaway - quiet and cosy. A well kitted out kitchen even though I just made the most of the local providers for a classic 'girl dinner' of wine, cheese and nibbles! No downside for me with this stay - I was happy to be out of town and in the quiet. And I slept like a log in the comfortable bed. Jamie and Peter were superb hosts.- attentive and communicative. Their lovely dog Djinni a delight! As for Beechworth itself I highly recommend a spa treatment and a bite to eat at The Benev.

Sawmill Cottage is a little slice of heaven. We were greeted by Terry and made to feel very welcome. The cottage was immaculately clean, beautiful sheets and comfy bed. There is a pot belly fireplace but weather was mild so we didn’t need. The area outside the cottage is lovely with fairy lights, seating and a fire pit. We loved the animals around the farm. There is plenty to do in the King Valley but we also enjoyed relaxing in this setting. There is also a farm gate with local produce for sale. Highly recommend a stay at Sawmill Cottage.

We stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding nearby. It was perfect for a few couples to stay together, lots of space, great amenities and the pool was lovely.

Lovely place in a gorgeous setting. The sunsets and sunrises over the hills were amazing. It had everything we needed and more - comfy beds, deck with a view and the kids even braved the pool and enjoyed watching the kangaroos and alpacas.

Awesome Spot in Bright – Can’t Recommend It Enough Just got back from a stay at Linda’s place in Bright and honestly, it was unreal. The house is super comfortable, spotless, and has a really warm, welcoming vibe. It felt more like staying at a good friend’s home than a rental. Everything was easy from the start — Linda was great to deal with, really responsive and friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed. She’s clearly put a lot of thought into the space. The kitchen was fully set up (even had decent coffee gear), the bed was really comfy, and there were heaps of little touches that made it feel extra special. The location is spot on — peaceful and quiet, but still really close to town. If you’re thinking of heading to Bright, definitely book this place.

This was a beautifully presented property and was as described. The property was large and expansive with excellent facilities. We were very comfortable and all our needs were met.
