North Country Cottage

This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. Shallow river is home to bass, crawfish, frogs, & turtles w/eagle sightings! Cabin is a loft design with a queen bed, & two twins (not a lot of privacy). Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. Base price is for 2 guests. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6). Inquire w/host to book both units.

This is a quaint little cabin on the Flambeau River just outside of Ladysmith, WI (flambeau translastes to flaming torch) It is a clean space with rustic charm. It has a fully equipped kitchen, stove and fridge. A gas fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room. Snuggle up on the sofa or recliner, turn on the fireplace, and relax. There is one bedroom with a memory foam mattress. A loft with a sleeper couch. Free amenities, including cleaning. No pets and no smoking at any time please.

There are three wonderful Restaurants/Bars within walking distance from the front door. Weyerhaeuser also has a wonderful park with a playground, ball fields, and a six pickle ball courts.

Seconds down the road from us is the Blue Hills, Christie Mountain Ski Resort, the Ice Age trail, ATV & snowmobile trails, and thousands of acres of public land for hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, and more. Children and pets are welcome when you stay with us!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Grandma's cozy apartment is a private, quiet country space. A home away from home to relax or work. Or if you'd rather be out and about we have a lovely little park beside Main Creek where you can grill and enjoy nature. It's accessible either by foot or vehicle. Located between Lake Holcombe and Flambeau Flowage. We have plenty of convenient parking space.
