We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i dette sommerhus! Poolen og alle de øvrige faciliteter – inkl. sauna, udeområder og køkken – var af virkelig høj kvalitet, og det hele fungerede upåklageligt. Stemningen og rammerne var perfekte til en hyggelig og afslappet ferie med venner. Det eneste lille minus var, at man selv skulle medbringe gas til grillen, hvilket kom som en overraskelse for os alle. Det ville være rart, hvis det blev nævnt tydeligere i beskrivelsen. Alt i alt en skøn oplevelse – vi kommer gerne igen!

Fantastiskt fint och massor av yta att umgås på för vår familj med fyra generationer. Nära till Köpenhamn centrum med bil eller kollektivtrafik. Kan varmt rekommendera ett besök här med Lene och Nick som värdpar.

Christina och Martin var väldigt hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående. Allt i huset var till belåtenhet och det fanns alla bekvämligheter man behöver. Hade kontakt med dem under vistelsen då vi råkade ställa till det med pooltäcket men vi fick väldigt trevligt bemötande och de såg till att det kom en firma och ställde det tillrätta. Rekommenderar varmt detta hus och fina värdpar som värnade om vår semester!

Lovely modern house in quiet surroundings. The house has everything you need. The kids loved playing in the pool. Rasmus is always available if there are any questions. The house was very clean when we arrived. There were a lot of towels available, very useful with the pool around.

Amazing super clean and beautiful accommodation with everything that could you need🌼🌼Everything was amazing and the location extra convenient close to the centre. The hot tub was the best experience during a cold evening ☺️The host was super kind and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Thank you Louise and family to let us stay in your house! It was a great experience: our children loved the personal space they had. We especially liked the fully equipped kitchen with the high chairs: our favourite spot to plan our day and to have an aperitif with the whole family. Farum is very nice, with a beautiful lake and close to Copenhagen. We highly recommend this house!

Ons gezin heeft een hele fijne tijd doorgebracht in deze BnB. De hosts waren proactief en goed bereikbaar. Het huisje is praktisch en mooi ingericht. Pluspunt was de airco op de benedenverdieping! Daarnaast biedt deze bnb veel buitenruimte waar je op verschillende plekken kan genieten van de rust. Holten zelf is ook een mooie plek om te verblijven, met een groot aanbod in wandelgebieden en outdoor activiteiten en Copenhagen op rijafstand. Ik zou deze bnb zeker aanraden!

Very clean and comfortable. Well-stocked kitchen. Great communication with Irina. It’s not a bustling neighborhood but it’s a nice area and less than 10-minute walk to a convenience shop. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The house was cosy, well appointed, warm and had everything we needed for our visit! It is in a convenient & pretty area and met all our needs. Thank you!

Wir haben uns in Jannes wunderschönen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist gut ausgestattet und die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Die Anbindung an Kopenhagen ist super, sodass wir mehrere Male in die Hauptstadt gefahren sind. Man gelangt auch schnell zum Meer oder zum Vergnügungspark Bakken, den wir noch schöner fanden als das Tivoli. Die Kommunikation mit Janne war äußerst angenehm und schnell. Wir können Jannes Haus wirklich sehr empfehlen.

Vi havde et hyggeligt ophold med vores to drenge. Vil klart anbefale.

Wij hebben een prettig verblijf gehad in het huis van Michael. Michael is een vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. Hij reageert snel, denkt met je mee en staat voor je klaar als je hulp nodig hebt. Michael heeft ons fijne tips gegeven bij het bezoeken van de omgeving. Zo zijn wij met de trein naar Kopenhagen geweest en hebben wij in een heerlijk restaurant gegeten. Het is een mooie, rustige omgeving en er is voor de kids genoeg te doen in en rond het huis. Wij hebben genoten.

Karina’s home is an enchanting place stay in the magical forest but only 25 minutes to the hustle and bustle of Copenhagen. It is private, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable! The bed linens are soft and the house is immaculate. Karina made it very special putting toys around for my grandson and was available for absolutely anything we needed. Absolutely book this place! It’s even more charming than the photos and the area is spectacular.

Very good times in Troels's place! The surroundings are amazing, the house super comfortable. Troels was super kind and ready to help us all the time. Amazing place close to the city. Great on summer for who loves the nature.

Wir waren für 5 Nächte zu dritt in der Wohnung und sehr zufrieden. Gut gefallen hat uns die Anbindung mit Bus und Bahn und die ruhige Umgebung. Die Ausstattung lässt kaum Wünsche offen und die Hosts sind mega nett. Die Wohnung war bei Ankunft sehr sauber und wir wurden von einem tollen Begrüßungspaket mit Kaffee und Keksen überrascht. Zudem gibt es ausreichend Privatsphäre durch mehrere Schlafräume und bei Fragen wurde immer schnell geholfen. Die Wohnung ist eingeschränkt rollstuhlgerecht. Die Badezimmer und der Flur sind sehr eng und die Türen schmal. An der Dusche und zu jedem Zimmer gibt es eine kleine Schwelle (teilweise bis zu 7cm). Auf Nachfrage konnte uns ein Duschhocker zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die Matratzen sind hart. Fazit: Wir würden wieder kommen und sagen danke!

I had an amazing stay! The place truly felt like home – cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail was carefully considered, from the comfortable furniture to the well-stocked amenities. Lisa was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and relaxing stay. Can’t wait to come back again!

We had a really nice family stay at Christina's house. 3 good sized bedrooms and a fantastic open-plan kitchen/diner/living space that opens on to the terrace. And a newly refurbished bathroom which was a nice surprise! It's very peaceful but it is remote so a car is recommended. Christina is lovely and was very helpful for the few questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

Es ist ein tolles Haus, schöner kleiner Garten, klasse Terrasse, zwei Bäder. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Carport mit Dachbox nicht nutzbar. Man kann aber problemlos an der Straße parken.

De woning is heel fijn met een mooie tuin met privacy. Voor de kinderen was er zowel binnen als buiten veel speelgoed. De locatie is ook super, dichtbij een meertje en bos waar je ook mooi kunt wandelen. Supermarkt in de straat voor vers brood. En vanuit Virum is Kopenhagen makkelijk bereikbaar per trein. Aanrader!

We stayed one full week in Birkerød with 2 kids. Many Airbnb locations are clean, only ment for rental. This location is clearly a family house, with a warm welcoming atmosphere, a lovely garden with vegetables and a lot of berries (end of July) when we were there. It's in a calm neighborhood, but shops and public transport are within walking distance. One shop is open until 10 PM. The communication (mainly with Per) before & during was always really friendly & straightforward. We all definitely liked our stay there!
