The place was nice and clean very spacious. Roxie was very punctual in replying back when I had a question. I highly recommend if you're ever in Vanceburg, Kentucky to check out the Carter House!

We really enjoyed our stay at Brandi and David's place in Maysville. Super-cute and roomy apartment with all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the remodeling touches and artistic use of old beams, window framework and cool touches. Even though it was pretty cold outdoors, we were toasty warm in the apartment and had control of the thermostat, which was great since we like to keep the rooms a bit cooler at night. The mattresses were very comfortable and there were room-darkening curtains on the windows. There was even a nice outdoor space which would have been great in warmer weather. We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect private getaway. About 30 minutes away to lots of hiking trails in red river and a quick drive to the store. Suzanne was super helpful and responsive. Gave us many things to do/see!

Second time back and will continue to stay here for our couple maysville trips a year that we take. Cannot recommend this place enough to those looking for a clean spacious well located place! Thanks again

I loved staying at their place. Next time I know to go shopping BEFORE getting there. It’s literally so out there it’s amazing. My kids Had such a blast on the swings , the trampoline and all the other amenities. It was so relaxing for them to get a break from tech and just enjoy the outdoors. There was a lot of dog hair which stired up some of our kiddos breathing issues but other than that. It was AMAZING STAY. We can’t wait to come back❤️🥰

A change in plans led us to go out of town for Thanksgiving this year. We were looking for a homey place to celebrate and relax, and loved the proximity of this airbnb to Red River Gorge. It was private and beautiful, and was even nicer than the photos made it look. There was plenty of room, a stocked kitchen (pots and pans and basic spices: salt and pepper etc) that made cooking a simple Thanksgiving dinner easy. We loved the open kitchen/living room space so that we could spend time with family while watching football and cooking. I even took a kayak out on Thanksgiving morning! It was a little chilly while we were there, but imagine the deck and pond would be incredible with warmer temperatures. There were tons of towels, blankets, shower items and a hairdryer. The appliances all worked great. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and Wyatt & Savannah's place was an amazing retreat.

Nestled in a beautifully serene setting, this spacious and impeccably clean house provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the fabulous hot tub, which was nothing short of a blissful retreat after a day of hiking adventures in the breathtaking surroundings. There’s something incredibly relaxing about soaking in a hot tub under the stars, and this one did not disappoint. The expansive living space was perfect for unwinding and enjoying some downtime. An unexpected bonus was the selection of video games, which added an extra layer of fun to our evenings. Everything was great. If you have an issue with your key fob, I beleive it is just the power lines. Try standing 2-5 feet from your vehicle to lock and unlock. Not a deal breaker and if you park in the garage you should be fine.

Overall a positive experience. The interior has been nicely remodeled and was very comfortable for a family of five. The kitchen was well supplied and the hosts were very responsive to our questions.

The place is adorable, and in walking distance of the local library and a couple restaurants. The place feels bigger than the pictures make it seem. There is train tracks just a few streets away, so you do get that noise, but I learned to tune it out pretty quickly. The stairs to the basement / laundry area are steep, but it has a railing. Overall, a great place to stay.
