Atención a los huéspedes
You'll have the place to yourself, but text if you have any questions and I'll get back with you promptly. I'll look forward to meeting you during your stay and am happy to give you suggestions of things to do in the area.
The neighborhood is called The Cedars. It is an urban/transitional/artist studio area. It is conveniently located near the Downtown Central Business District, Convention Center, The Arts District, Farmers Market, Sante Fe Trail, Deep Ellum, Expo/Fair Park, Heritage Village, and the Entertainment District. Across the street is well known dive bar called Lee Harvey's - an outdoor beer garden live music venue. Please note that they have bands Friday and Saturday night and can play as late as 12:30 am. This is considered an amenity to many travelers so please be aware that you may hear the bands on these evenings. Please take this into account when booking - I would rather disclose this upfront versus hearing complaints after the fact.
The Cedars DART station is @ 5 minute walk
The DART bus lines and stops are a couple of blocks away and run on both Akard and Ervay streets
Biking to Downtown CBD, Arts District and Deep Ellum/Expo Park is common and convenient.

Hello- I'm Julie! I love to travel and enjoy staying in interesting places. On this side I truly enjoy hosting and making everyone's experience as great as I would want it myself. I want my guests to feel at home- and that they are being well cared for. I'm a native Texan, spent many years in Memphis and a few in Europe. I've worked in the photo industry as a set designer and prop stylist for over 15 years. My love of treasure hunting has also spilled over into the estate sale and antique dealer world. I love creating unique and beautiful spaces with the interesting things I find along the way.
