I have been a host for over 6 years and I believe this guest was her first time using Airbnb. Apparently, she made a reservation for 2 adults and one infant... and actually there was no infant at all, and she decided to bring along another 10 Japanese people to stay in my place, using every single thing in there that was available, they even brought other towels from other hotels and left them on the floor with poop on it. They stayed 4 nights and they never threw the garbage out, despite that it was very clear in the instructions where the trash room was. They also left a huge amount of dishes dirty for my cleaning lady to wash... like she was their maid, right?? And finally, they were bouncing so much on the futon, which was originally separated from the wall and on an area rug, and they made huge holes on the wall from their misuse. My cleaning lady was in shock of such a mess and so little time to clean after these disrespectful guests before the new guests's arrival. I had to re-arrange my schedule to personally come to the unit and help my cleaning lady to get it ready, which was very frustrating. And yes... it was really bad and when people don't have respect for you and your property and personal belongings and destroy you stuff... it is really NOT GOOD! Now, I have to spend more time and money in cleaning and getting contractors over to get an estimate on repairing their damages so Airbnb can take care of their abuse. Fixing the wall will take about 2-3 days and this will be down time for me from renting the unit to good guests.
I gave them a nice discounted rate and they abused my property in return.
They don't deserve to be guests of any hosts in Airbnb what so ever. My experience is a complete disaster... and they called me a "Big complainer"... I guess they didn't complain when they were partying and destroying my unit!
