Located in a beautiful suburban community and just a five-minute walk from the train to Manhattan's Penn Station, our home is a terrific central location for a large family or group that wants to be able to explore New York City and the surrounding area. The home was built in 1925 but has had numerous updates and additions, including a basement renovation in 2015. An unfussy decor with modern touches makes it a place where you and your guests will feel immediately comfortable.
Our home is at the top of a long driveway on a quiet street with little traffic and parking is available for one vehicle. The outdoor space features a patio and a sloping front yard. Trains run from the Short Hills train station frequently — we use NJ Transit regularly to go into the city. Quite simply, it's a great place to either unwind after a long day of NYC touring or to explore the surrounding towns and countryside of New Jersey.

I have owned this home with my beautiful wife since 2012. We like to travel ourselves — often staying in AirBnB residences — and look forward to providing a welcoming place for visitors to New York City and our area. We are in New York City frequently and will be happy to provide advice and tips on restaurants and things to do during your time there.
