This is a funny little apartment in an absolutely perfect place. Though the apartment is not *on* the beach, it is very, very close. (And you can see the ocean from the window!) We stayed here with our toddler, and it was so wonderful to be able to just stroll to the beach (and Haystack Rock). The apartment is in the heart of midtown, with restaurants and coffee shops, and only a short walk away from downtown Cannon Beach, with all it has to offer. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub -- though its location in the middle of the living space was a little odd -- was very nice. The apartment itself is quite small. Though the listing says it can accommodate 4 people, but putting out the floor mats completely eliminates the floor space. This worked out OK, since our plus-one is only two years old, and we folded up the mats during the day, but it's something to keep in mind. (You would only want to stay here with another couple if you are reeeeeeally close with them.) Also note that there is not enough room for a couch, so if you want to relax, you either need to sit on the bed, or in one of the wicker-type outdoor furniture chairs. We spent most of our time outside of the apartment, so this was all right, but if it had been super rainy, we wouldn't have wanted to relax in the apartment all day. In the end, we were happy with our stay here, as we primarily used it as a place to crash and enjoy the unbeatable proximity to town and to the beach. And the jacuzzi tub was a definite plus. We would stay here again.
