This suite is in a classic, high-Tudor-style home, built in 1933. We have taken pains to keep the style of the period, but it keeps getting better and better. We just painted the deck, planted the window boxes, and had the house painted to make it a lovely space for guests. The house is part of the picture-perfect M-Streets neighborhood. Charming homes on tree-lined roads are all around. If you like vintage and character, this is it!
Relax on one of the 3 private porches on 3 sides of the house, in enclosed yard. Choose the porch swing, one of the outdoor tables, or relaxing chairs. Or meditate under the wisteria arbor!
Disponible para huéspedes
This is my home, but you have this room and bathroom all to yourself, with unrestricted street parking. Upon booking, we will give you an entrance code to the gate and your room, allowing you 24-hr access to come and go as you please. You have your own private entrance, and the door to the rest of the house is locked.

You will be letting yourself in, but I and my husband, Stan, are happy to help in any way!

I am a former teacher, linguist, trainer, and have lived for extended periods in 6 countries, and traveled to many more. I've worked in academic, non-profit NGO and corporate settings (I've done it all!).
When I moved back to the U.S., I lived in a suburb, and longed to move to the M-Streets neighborhood in the city. I would drive here just to take walks. Now I’m “living the dream.” My 2 adult kids live nearby, and we have great times together.
I and my husband, Stan, are slowly working toward semi-retiring so we can travel and volunteer. I am happy to share my dream home with other good people.
