Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Adorable & freshly renovated cabin located in a private wooded community between Highlands and Franklin in the Nantahala National Forest. Our light & airy cabin is nestled on almost 4 acres of woodsy, mountainous terrain and is private and picturesque, yet still convenient to town. We love relaxing on the front porch, surrounded by nature and enjoying the sounds of the streams & views of the mountains. It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

Melrose Cottage

Our Joe Webb cabin is just minutes drive and a 15 min. walk to the Historic mountain town of Highlands, NC, with great restaurants, dining, bars, spa, art and culture. At 4,100 feet we have hiking, zip lining and waterfalls,romantic winters and summers with temps in the 70's - low 80's. You’ll love this place because of the coziness, warmth and charm of a classic mountain log cabin with all the modern comforts. It is great for couples(and a child), solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Floor to ceiling shiplap, 17 ft. ceilings, hardwoods, reclaimed barn wood, custom fixtures, heated marble/slate bath floors, tankless water heater, gas fireplace, porch, Wifi, TV, washer/dryer, kitchenette. Beautiful gardens! Classic Highlands charm with modern comforts! Hike, fish, shop, or relax!

Haven on Earth

A "lofty" perch - situated above a two car detached garage from the owner's residence - located atop Mulberry Mountain. Spacious bedroom with king bed includes a sitting area, queen sleeper sofa in living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. We provide a coffeemaker with coffee and filters, a Keurig machine with coffee pods. Included also is a full sized oven and stove, full-sized refrigerator, a toaster, a blender, a counter top toaster oven and a microwave. NOW HAVE STARLINK WI-FI

Welcome to our cozy creekside cabin! Set on 3/4 of an acre, in a neighborhood setting, surrounded by beautiful trees and a small creek you can listen to while enjoying your morning coffee on the covered deck. This well-equipped cabin is only 3 miles to downtown Franklin (8 minute drive). There is also a Walmart just two miles away. Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!

The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.

Mountain Top Hideaway

Welcome to our rustic cabin with mountain top views at an elevation of 4,000ft. The cabin is located between Franklin and the Highlands/Cashiers area. There is an abundance of waterfalls/ hiking trails nearby along with the local favorite, gem mining. The covered back deck has panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains with rocking chairs and outdoor dining. Our cabin provides a very quiet and private getaway for couples and families. Twin Creeks on the Cullasaja

*Sorry. No Pets* Relax in peace! The property is located on the Cullasaja River. Rocky River Lane is a dead end with only 5 homes. A small branch and Peeks Creek border the property and feed into the river. It's perfect for tubing and trout fishing, and if the water is up a bit, it's perfect for kayaking. The stairs from the bank to the river make for safe and easy access. The house is located way off the main drag with equal distance to Franklin and Highlands.

Appalachian Container Cabin

Stay at one of the most unique and stunning vacation rentals in the Smoky Mountains! The "Appalachian Container Cabin" is a modern tiny home with an unparalleled view overlooking the Appalachian Trail, built out of shipping containers, and was recently featured on the new HGTV/DIY show "Containables". The cabin is located at the end of private road deep within the Nantahala National Forest, but located conveniently between Franklin, North Carolina and Clayton, Georgia.
