What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

Exceeded our expectations - well-equipped, warm, beautiful, lots of room yet so cosy - perfect holiday home for our family getaway. The stunning view we got to wake up to was definitely the cherry on top. Bev is also super responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Ohakune is always a pleasure! We usually stay at a ski club we belong to but wanted more luxe this time lol. Gillian’s place delivered no question. Surprisingly spacious lounge dining kitchen setup which we loved - feels like you can breathe in the space you know? The deck fab but the piece de resistance was the hot tub which we used every night. Place was super clean and had everything we needed. Would go again def

The accommodation was amazing for a large group. House has an awesome lay out, super spacious living area and kitchen, comfy beds, and warm and toastie. Bridget’s communication was great at all times, highly recommend to stay here!

Thanks so much for hosting my son and two of the students he coaches. He said the place was fantastic, well beyond what he was expecting. He felt very comfortable there. Feilding House is a grand 100 year old home that has been lovingly restored so it is able to be enjoyed. The workmanship and attention to detail is stunning. The bedrooms are huge with luxurious linen and a feeling of opulence. The whole house is spacious and functional, while giving you a feeling of being back in time. The new bathroom is very spacious with a lovely big spa bath to enjoy. The huge kitchen with up to date appliances is wonderful to cook in. We certainly enjoyed using the pool and outdoor space. Thank you for sharing your beautiful historical house.
